Heya Guys!
Now, we enter the season of my discontent...
*grumble*
I'm going to confess something, now:
Winter makes me a crabby patty.
I want to be nice.
I mean to be nice.
But sometimes...
I grumble a bit.
At least we have Christmas coming up! Hooray hooray! Sweet baby Jesus! :)
But...
ohno...
SNOW is supposed to come Monday, and I keep screaming at the radio and telling the weather man to stop saying that s-word, but he won't!! :(
stupid four-letter word.
But productivity this way is continuing. Not quite as much as I would like, but I've been making way on a couple projects I put aside in order to do nano.
My poor boss had to have surgery at the beginning of this month, so I'm at work quite a bit more trying to keep her paperwork up-to-date while she's gone. Good thing is she's the toughest woman ever (no joke!) and she's healing superfast! Yay, Patty!!! :) I can't wait for her to come back. She's truly the best boss I've ever had (and I'm not sucking up, either, because I seriously doubt she even knows WHAT a blog is, let alone will ever figure out how to find and read one :P)
The brand spanking new crit group I belong to has just completed our first week of critting! Which is super exciting to me! I'm loving the story that I'm getting to read for that!
The holiday time is just crazy busy, and my fingers and toes keep going numb, and all I want to do is snuggle under some blankies (preferably with the hubs or one of my babies!) and be warm!
So, all my excuses in this random blurty post are really just to tell you that I haven't been able to get around the 'sphere as much as I'd like to, and I've been lurking more and more. But I'm still here! Buried under work and holidays and snow and sick kids and projects, and hopefully hopefully some big thick blankets!!! and I'm really really trying not to snip anyone with my snow crab pincher-thingies!!! Hopefully all these layers I'm buried under will keep us all safe!
Sorry, my brain is crazy!
Really just wanted to say, "Heya!"
I've been missing you guys!

Vic, stay warm, stay cheerful and have a wonderful Christmas :-)

Hiya! Get some fans and blow the snow my way, please? I want and miss it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some snow here, but I hear you.
ReplyDeleteStay warm! I love snow myself, except for the shoveling. But, I'm a late fall/winter baby and the cold weather gets me going.
ReplyDeleteAren't crit partners just the best? I love my group very much.

Stay warm, and hope you can avoid that snow. We haven't had any yet and I'm perfectly okay with that--except that probably means January is going to be awful.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
